Monticello is interested in what other BWRs have used for airflow studies in their turbine buildings or on their reactor fuel floors.
We are considering using a fogging machine employing a fogger chemical called NLFX Platinum Fog Fluid. This chemical is commonly used for theatrical effects. Do any BWRs have any experience using this chemical? What methods/chemicals do other BWRs use for airflow studies, especially where water chemistry could be an issue? Are there any recommendations? We appreciate your assistance. Have a happy and safe Independence Day.
