Palo Verde also uses Sentinel for access control/exposure management which
accepts tenths.

Thanks for all of the quick responses!

For those stations that have their dosimeters set to display tenths;

Does your access control/exposure management system accept tenths or are you
just using it as an ALARA tool to make the worker more aware of their dose?

We use Sentinel for access control (which will accept tenths) but unfortunately
still have a legacy exposure management system, considered our "system of
record", that will only accept whole numbers. In order to be consistent
between the systems we have been sticking with displaying a whole number on the
dosimeter.

Thanks again,

Fermi currently has our DMC2000 electronic dosimeters set to display dose as a
whole number. We are being told that everyone else sets their displays to
read out in tenths. I'd like to do a quick survey to see how many sites have
their electronic dosimeters, of whatever model, display dose in whole numbers
and how many in tenths. I think this question has been asked many times
before. If anyone has a roll up of what the responses were, a copy would be
appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
