Palo Verde provides the following response: 1. Do you have a dedicated training facility or laboratory at your site to conduct Radiological Protection training? Yes. If so explain. We have two dedicated rooms in our Training building for RP use (a large laboratory that holds 50-60 people, has AV, computers, instruments, displays, etc., and a smaller classroom that's holds up to 20 that we use for specialized training such as MCA, E-Plan, etc.) We also have a full mock-up facility with S/G and RCP seals that includes our remote monitoring training, room for DLAs, and practice for S/G jumping
2. How do you track and document future actionable items that require review by the Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) or the Training Program Committees (TPC)? We use the Condition Reporting system. Student feedback is reviewed after each training session and long term decisions to make changes / enhancements are done at the CRC/TPC level; however, if a condition is identified in the feedback or during the instruction period that has an immediate impact, a condition report is generated immediately. 3. Do you have a procedural time limit that requires the line to have an Individual Developmental Plan (IDP) or initial training plan approved for a new hire? Yes, this is specifically in the dept training description. ********************************************************************** Seth J.
