Duke Energy currently uses Delta Suits. We use both Station breathing air and
rented compressors for breathing air at our stations.

Duke Energy is currently seeking approval for using a RESPIREX Suit. RESPIREX
is a UK based company with a great product. If you'd like to find out more
about the RESPIREX Suit you can contact Manny High at RESPIREX North America at

Subject: Powernet: Bubble Hoods and Breathing Air Supply

Palo Verde currently uses the LANCS Air Fed (Bubble) Hood for making internal
Steam Generator entries. Until recently, we used the plant's service air
system to supply breathing air; however, due to a plant modification this was
no longer available for use and we have subsequently replaced the plant system
with temporary breathing air compressors that are external to the Containment
Building.

Palo Verde would like to know the following:

If you use bubble hoods, what brand / manufacture do you use?

What is your source for grade D breathing air, e.g., plant system, compressor,
etc.?

Thanks in advance, Seth
