North Anna's TEDE ALARA Review criteria: IF any of the following are applicable, THEN PERFORM a TEDE ALARA Review: ∙ Radiological respiratory protection equipment is being considered and the individual estimated DDE for an RWP job is expected to exceed 0.5 rem. ∙ Old/aged alpha contamination may be present, but inaccessible (e.g., under an oxide layer inside primary system piping) ∙ The DDE saved is projected to be at least 5 times the CEDE if respirators are NOT used and individual DAC-Hour exposure would exceed 10 DAC-Hours ∙ Station ALARA Coordinator determination that TEDE ALARA Review is appropriate.
