Braidwood uses a ventilation hood if necessary or just air dry.

We avoid taking wet smears.

If we have wet smears, we simply let them air dry. Back in the day we
had the infra-red drying ovens but they are long since gone J

Subject: Powernet: Drying Wet Smears

Hi All,

Simple question for a Friday afternoon...I hope. Do you have a method
for drying wet smears other than simply waiting? If so, what do you use
to accelerate the drying process.

Thanks,

Linda
