Subject: Powernet: RE: Marking of Contaminated RCA Tools

We went thru this many years ago. We maintain a tool issue area inside the RCA
and only specialty M&TE items are allowed to be released. It has been hard to
enforce the specialty tool restriction, because everyone seems to have some
specialty tool and some times we are able to make them keep that tool in the
RCA Tool room.

Subject: Powernet: Marking of Contaminated RCA Tools

DCPP would like to discontinue the practice of using paint to identify
contaminate tools as RP is no longer able to control purple/magenta paint due
to contractors and vendors working onsite.

For those who have stopped using paint on contaminated RCA tools what method do
you use to communicate the hazard associated with contaminated tools?
