Brad,

We have used TeleView 2000 for the past several years. We have used it on
multiple occasions with multi-badges during diving operations. TeleView only
had limited security access rights so you have to use the Manager level for the
manual addition of workers when HIS-20 would go down, network issues, or when
using it not connected to the network. While normal access control entries get
the information automatically to TeleView from our access control system,
multi-badge entries do not and have to be manually entered. So yes we use both
options at the same time.

You are right about the vulnerability.

We are in the process of switching over to GEDDS but currently use both systems
in parallel.

Subject: Powernet: TeleView 2000

Fermi currently uses TeleView 2000 for its telemetry software. Normally this
is in a network configuration with a link to our access control system. With
manager level user access an individual could also add individuals to the
Worker Roster manually. This level of access would also allow them access to
all sorts of other settings that could really mess up proper functioning of the
system if inadvertently changed. Additionally, using both options causes, in
my opinion, a high risk of the same ED being assigned to two different
individuals if the appropriate level of diligence is not used to delete the
manual entry when done. My questions are as follows:

Do you allow both options to be used at the same time?

Do you use TeleView 2000 when multibadging individuals?

If you don't use TeleView 2000 when multibadging individuals, what software do
you use?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
