Fermi - 2 - gamma monitor followed by beta/alpha monitor. RCA exit
boundary is after the beta/alpha monitor (some of our PCMs are combined
alpha/beta/gamma), RCA exit after all monitoring has been completed.
Concept is highest to lowest, before exit.

Subject: Powernet: Placement of exit RCA monitors
Sent by: [email protected]

Perry Nuclear Power would like to know how other plants arrange their exit
beta/alpha sensitive (e.g. PCM or equivalent) and gamma sensitive (i.e. SPM
or equivalent) monitors at the RCA exit.

Which configuration describes your plant

1 - beta/alpha monitor followed by gamma monitor. RCA exit boundary is
after the gamma monitor

2 - gamma monitor followed by beta/alpha monitor. RCA exit boundary is
after the beta/alpha monitor

3 - beta/alpha monitor, RCA exit boundary, then gamma monitor

4 - gamma monitor, RCA exit boundary, then beta/alpha monitor

5 - Other configuration. Explain.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
