>From Callaway:

1. Do you monitor your slings and harnesses in a SAM if they've been used
in the RCA?

Yes. Although a sideline point is that "once in, it stays in", unless special
approval is obtained.

2. If so, is there a set activity or alarm level below which the
sling/harness may be used in a clean area? Or is it go/no-go for clean area
use based on any alarm?

No. If the SAM alarms, release would have to verify natural products only via
Gamma Spectroscopy.

Subject: Powernet: Slings and Harnesses

I realize similar questions to this have been asked in various forms over the
years, but I don't see any specific answer to what we're looking for:

1. Do you monitor your slings and harnesses in a SAM if they've been used
in the RCA?

2. If so, is there a set activity or alarm level below which the
sling/harness may be used in a clean area? Or is it go/no-go for clean area
use based on any alarm?

Thanks!
