TVA uses the Ludlum Model 12-4 meters. We plan to use the REM-500's for the ANI Neutron Characterization Studies we are performing soon.
I would like to try out the Thermo RadEye version doing our studies to see if it would be a viable alternative, however we haven't planned for that so far. Several of you answered this question back in 2012, but I'm looking for an update. What neutron dose rate meters are you using these days? Our techs want to know how much polyethylene everyone else is carrying around containment. Thanks for your time!
