Fermi - station level procedure used for classifying chemicals, all
chemicals brought on site are to be approved beforehand, and are assigned a
company stock number, items are labeled with chemical category (RCA,
limited use in RCA, not allowed in RCA) which quickly identifies whether or
not a chemical is allowed into RCA, requirement that all chemicals have
identification label and category. Removal from RCA - treated like
everything else, surveyed, may or not be released depending on hazard or
presence of rad. contamination, then may fall into mixed hazardous waste
program, etc.

Surry Power Station would like to know how your station controls chemicals
being taken inside and/or removed from the RCA?

Do you use a tracking mechanism to control chemicals taken into the RCA?

Thanks,
