What printer type/style/model (hardware) do you use?
Brother Ptouch Series, any number of model numbers (PTPC, PT-1500PC, PT-1230PC,
PT-2500PC, PT-9700PC). We have some QL-1050s, but those are large format
labels. Some of the older ones have been discontinued (PTPC and PT-1500PC, and
I think PT-2500PC).

What labels do you use with the hardware?
Brother strip labels, TZ series. The old PTPC used TX, most of those have been
replaced.

Do you use Windows standard print drivers?
Yes, download directly from Brother. Due to the length of time we have been
using these, we have some stations have older software versions that have not
been updated. (4.2 vs 5.1 for example)

Do you run local desktop or network?
The printer driver and program are loaded directly to the PC desktop. Many of
the archived labels are on the LAN drive.

Do you have any issues with fading etc of the information on the labels?
Not particularly. In general we don't use these labels for long term outside
use such as regulatory posting, and we generally don't use them for signage.
For labeling posted dosimeters or dosimeters assigned to personnel, they work
OK Fine.
