Hi Rick,

RSCS uses standard imaging A3, A4, A5, and A6 chambers plus a custom high
pressure chamber for low ranges. We pair this with a keithley 617 electrometer.
We characterize both open beam and box calibrators the same way. K&S performs
the calibrations on the chambers.

Subject: Powernet: Irradiator Transfer Standards

Hello All,

For those with Cs-137 irradiators/calibrators (e.g., Model 81, 78, or 89):

1. What instruments do you use as transfer standards to verify the source?

a. Free air (Model 81 or 78)

b. Box calibrators (Model 89)

2. Where do you send your instruments for calibration?

Thanks.
