Catawba Nuclear Station is looking for someone to benchmark (either February or May/June timeframe) in hopes of identifying efficiency improvements in our HRA Controls (areas 100 - 1000 mrem/hr @ 30 cm). Please provide responses to the questions below and let me know if you would be receptive to a benchmark during either of the timeframes noted above.
* Approximately how many HRAs do you currently have? * Do you use non-locking devices at the entrance to HRAs? * Have you implemented some method to reduce the total number of keys associated with your HRAs? * Have you received an INPO STRENGTH or Noteworthy Practice re: HRA Controls? * Are there other examples where you have improved efficiencies re: HRA Controls?
