1. Yes. Portable HEPA filtered ventilation units that exhaust from a RCA are
tested annually and RCA vacuums with HEPA filters are tested annually.
2. Additional testing of HEPA filtered ventilation is required as follows:
* Prior to first time use
* Prior to use after a HEPA filter change.
* Prior to use following a ventilation unit modification which
could affect the integrity of the HEPA installation
* Prior to use when "System Leak Tested" sticker is missing
* If a defective test sticker is observed and system integrity
is suspect (HEPA only).
3. Non-RCA vacuums are not tested.
