Subject: [powernet] Robotics Usage
Cooper Nuclear Station would like to know what extent other plants are
utilizing robotics for ALARA purposes. Your responses to the below questions
would be greatly appreciated.
1. Do you currently use robotics, if so what applications?
Yes, Obtain information in HRA and LHRA's, Remote Job coverage
with WRM2 payload, Perform Surveys, take color photos and thermal imaging,
obtain temperature reading, asbestos sampling, O2 readings, identify equipment
or problems,.
Also perform minor work; pressure washing,
vacuuming, remove insulation, install drip pans
