At Palo Verde our FSAR requires us to have quantities of certain types of
portable RP instruments available for use at all times. (i.e. 5 Neutron Meters
(Rem Balls), 12 Low Range Ion Chamber instruments (RO-2), 12 High Range Ion
Chamber instruments (RO2A),...)

We have an instrument tracking program that counts the available instruments in
the database and gives a warning if we fall below these values. If you have a
similar requirement to have certain quantities instruments available at all
times, what method do you use to do that?

Thanks
Jeff Norwood
