OPPD - Fort Calhoun has a Shepherd Model 89 and a Shepherd Mini 89 that are no longer in use. We are seeking a new home for them. They are both in operational condition. Both units have Cs-137 sources. The larger source (~ 200 Ci) in the Model 89 is required to be tracked in the National Source Tracking System (NSTS), so any prospective recipient of the Model 89 must have a license that can accept the source and be registered with the NRC in the NSTS.
If you are interested in either or both of these devices, please let me know.
