Hello Everyone The HPS will meet February 4 - 7, 2018 in Denver.
The Power Reactor Section needs a half-day special session to present and discuss the following items: Elections to replace outgoing PRS Officers Discussion of present PRS By Laws and any needed modifications Status of new NPP construction Status of NPP decommissioning Recommendations to NRC for "recycling used nuclear fuel" Status of SMRs (Small Modular Reactors Status of NPP construction worldwide the "Nuclear Promise" Status of the DOE RP-EFCOG and how that effort could impact NPPs New Federal regulations If you are interested in making a presentation on any of these topics please let the HPS and myself know of your plans.
