Hello all, For those of you that are not aware of this significant project at Cook, beginning in 2018, DC Cook will begin a 100% replacement of its entire installed Radiation Monitoring System, with the exception of our Containment High Range Monitors. Our current system consists of some original (and unbelievably, reliable) Westinghouse area and (in-well) process detectors as well as an extensive collection of Eberline area, process and Part/I2/NG monitors. Over the next two years, we will be installing a complete Mirion Rad Monitoring System in both U-1 and U-2. Cook is looking to make these components available for a reasonable cost in lieu of tossing them in the trash, which would be a HUGE waste if you are a site that has been scouring eBay and retiree basements for parts.
