TVA External Message. Please use caution when opening.
Dang, I may not have been specific enough. I meant the function that has the
current time as a display option which you can toggle from the dose display.
I.e to use the dosimeter as a clock/watch.

Sorry for any confusion!

Hi Derek,

I am the Dosimetry/Instrument Specialist at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (and in
spite of it, an alumni of D. C. Cook) We use the clock function for our
electronic dosimeters. We set it for 14 hours. It is only annoying if you
take it home or try to keep one for yourself. We have found it useful for the
most part.

D. C. Cook is wondering whether sites have self-reading dosimeters that have a
"clock" function on the dosimeter.

If the dosimeter does have a clock function, do you use it?

For the plants that do use it, have you noted any positives or negatives with
its use?

I would think it would be more of a distraction than a help but looking for
feedback if you have used it.

Thanks,
