Subject: [Powernet] Asbestos fit tests at 6 month frequency?

Hi, Asbestos respirator fit test frequency question:

NEI 03-03 Rev 3 just came out December 2018. While seeing what had changed, I
noted Section 7.4, Fit-Test Periodicity, discusses when fit testing is required
and that its performed at least annually. Then it adds, "Also, OSHA requires
in 29 CFR 1926, six month periodicity for work with lead and asbestos."

I am not familiar with lead requirements, but I thought asbestos was changed
from a six month frequency to a year several years ago. Did something change
or is the NEI document incorrect?
