Hi Michael,
At TVA's Sequoyah plant we use the DMC-2000GN electronic dosimeters to monitor
neutron dose during dry cask campaigns (this is the only significant neutron
dose source we have due to our plant design). We have not experienced any
unusual neutron doses or dose rates with their use during any of the last 3 dry
cask storage campaigns. These units have not been used outside this work
activity, so we cannot speak to how they perform in "non-neutron areas."

TVA External Message. Please use caution when opening.

Has another utility experienced unusual neutron spikes response when using
DMC2000GN dosimeters in non-neutron areas?

We have experienced several unusual neutron doses and dose rates within a short
time after activation of the DMC2000GN.
