For our PAPHs we qualify them one time using a practical. As long as they maintain the annual CBT they don't have to do the practical again. We use a mannequin for the actual donning/doffing of the respirator. That way we don't have to disinfect the hoods. The user still does a check of the respirator and all of the parts to make sure it works.
