The Efika is a less expensive solution for development at this stage. While the system is not as powerful as the ODW was, you do get a lot more bang for the buck, and a smaller box on your desk to get Solaris running. The board is $199 at the moment but we will have full complete systems (with and without disk, or graphics) in a pretty case (Dennis from Blastware is handling this, check his blog http://www.blastwave.org/dclarke/blog/) and power supply solution, varying prices. That's being sorted out and will be on the store shortly. -- Matt Sealey <matt at genesi-usa.com> Genesi, Manager, Developer Relations John Sonnenschein wrote: > The ODW was replaced as a development platform by the EFIKA > > cheers, > -John > On 20-Feb-07, at 11:36 PM, Saravanan S wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> I got to know from the opensolaris PPC community site that the >> hardware used for the port is Pegasos G4 Open Desktop Workstation. >> >> The link https://www.pegasosppc.com/special_odw.php?partner=blastware >> mentions that the Pegasos motherboard and related products have sold >> out and been discontinued.
