IBM Power boxes and such use MBR/FDISK disklabels, and apple hardware use mac partition table, which are similar in design to amiga RDBs (linked list of partitions). Given Apples choice to leave powerpc, those hardly matter for OpenSolaris though. Friendly, Sven Luther
