Dennis, drop sed/awk - use PCA (http://www.par.univie.ac.at/solaris/pca/intro.html) It is fast and reliable. I am very pleased with it. GCC comes with Solaris so we may just use it. Current version should be allright. Overall I think we are progressing very well - New Year has something to do with it :) I am too moving forward quickly - at this rate we will have most of the usr/src/uts built by the of this month. -- Regards, Cyril
