The list was derived from previous conversations and a few things I did over the past two weeks. Public knowledge: - 1. Progress has been very good with the latest GRUB2 code. Minor issues exist, but various people are working together to resolve their issues. (Dennis/Cyril/others) - 2. Need software engineers/developers capable of porting device drivers and knowing the Genesi people involved in the relationships with IHVs (see Matt/Genesi). - 3. SmartFirmware roadmap. This is the review of the current code and where is it going for the next release. Also, how we get more people inlvoved in understanding its use, documentation, and importance to this project. (Get Sven's involvement). - 4. Solaris filesystem layout. This is the review of the Solaris filesystem. Review of "Solaris 10/11" documentation and available books online for review. This was also a review of Belenix and Schillix file system layouts as well for OpenSolaris (Ken). - 5. Review of Apple's latest hardware product offerings, as well as the Mac Mini and Genesi Pegasos comparison. Apple's Mac Mini [M9971LL/B] for $699 was compared with the latest Genesi Pegasos II ODW. Someone at Apple seems to keep an eye on the Genesi Pegasos hardware features!
