Ken,

that package is built for Little Endian PPC target.
The Polaris port is Big Endian. Another minor point
is that support for Solaris 8, 9 and 10 is not mandatory.
It is very likely that the only workable setup would be
current SXCR x86, which means supporting previous
Solaris version isn't really necessary. Also I feel like
keeping the cross tool chain outside of /opt/csw.
The toolchain is specialized for one specific task -
cross compiling Polaris and we need it as a bridge
until we get to self hosted PowerPC environment.
After that we can just kill it and use native toolchain
(most probably GNU, but native, not cross)

It is my understanding that you've build the stock
2.16.1 sources without any patches, right ?

We ARE the community and we have to approve our
own work I think.
