Seriously: it is in the state where it is "good enough" for me, so i never
really finished it. Any patches and improvements are of course highly
welcome.

You can't. It just gets the info from hal via the powersave library, so if
the ACPI implementation of your machine is lacking e.g. the "last full
capacity" field, it may have trouble reporting the remaining time. This
is basically the same with all the powersave frontends - we once had
elaborate code for reading and calculating battery values, but similar stuff
was finally implemented in HAL and so we switched to HAL.
