This might be kinda offtopic, as it is related to powernowd for
example too, but I though you know the answer for this question.
Why is speedstep not recognized when both acpi_cpufreq and
speedstep_centrino modules compiled into kernel? Both powernowd and
powersaved are saying that it couldn't load these modules. It works
fine when these are compiled as modules alone and modprobed. Is this a
kernel bug or did I forget about something obvious? I assume this is not
powersdaved's and powernowd's bug.
