Just had a quick look at sleep_helper_functions from 0.12.15. If I'm not
mistaken it's not yet fixed for this version, right?

So I decided to take another approach for this problem. Looking at the
grub src-rpm, the grubonce script is a SuSE specific file, which is not
part of the upstream tarball. I extracted the grubonce script and put it
into /usr/sbin. Unfortunately it does not work under Debian. It seems as
grub in Debian does not understand the /boot/grub/default file
generated by grubonce. (The grub version in Debian is 0.97,
grub-set-default works, but generates a /boot/grub/default file which is
completely different to the one generated by grubonce, e.g. it is a pure
text file).
Do you know if SuSE contains special patches for grub to make it play
nicely with grubonce? I'd like to include grubonce in the Debian
powersave package, because grubonce has the nice feature to set the
timeout to zero, so the user can not select the wrong boot entry after a
STD unintentionally.

Cheers,
Michael
