Dear all, I installed the kpowersave (0.6.0) and powersave rpm's on my Fedora Core 5 Notebook. Unfortunately powersaved is although installed not starting automatically at boot time. At the moment I start powersaved manually via /etc/init.d/powersaved start .
So I'd like to ask if it is possible to improve the installation process that the daemon starts automatically at boot time? Furthermore I would like to ask if someone does know a temporary work around. I am running out of ideas. With Gentoo it is simple with rc-update. As far as I know the relevant tool for Fedora is chkconfig but that does not "know" powersaved. I was trying to add links to the runlevels but it that not work as well ... Thanks, Stefan Grosse. _______________________________________________ powersave-devel mailing list [email protected] http://forge.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/powersave-devel
