Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Autosuspend does not work if DPMS is active Initial Comment: When I configure DPMS timeouts together with an Autosuspend timeout in Kpowersave, the Autosuspend does only work if the timeout is shorter than the DPMS timeouts. Looks like the timer is not refreshed after the first event. Kpowersave is a great tool. I like it very much because it allows me to use the PC as a video recorder that switches on and off when needed. The wakeup timer is setup via ACPI alarm and the switching off is done by kpowersave. Kaffeine calls a script when DVB recording starts/stops. This script enables/disables autosuspend in kpowersave. Works fine. Just the result of the call "dcop kpowersave KPowersaveIface disableAutosuspend true/false" cannot be checked in the Kpowersave GUI. Another nice thing would be a setup for the standard schema after startup. Currently, performance is the default scheme which cannot be changed by dcop either. What about a feature "AutoShutdown" as alternative to AutoSuspend ? Would call "dcop ksmserver ksmserver logout 0 2 0" after idle time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=700009&aid=1483392&group_id=124576 _______________________________________________ powersave-devel mailing list powersave-devel@forge.novell.com http://forge.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/powersave-devel
