That happens for example when the kernel has oopsed or (sometimes) if a "bad" driver module is loaded. This is, however, not a powersave problem but a kernel problem and you should probably ask on the kernel or the suspend-devel mailinglist. If the kernel had oopsed, you should reboot anyway, for the "bad" module, you could try to unload it before suspending. -- Stefan Seyfried "Any ideas, John?"
