Summary: kpowersave doesn't like kscreensaver

Initial Comment:
Try setting kpowersave monitor stand-by time before the time when kscreensaver
activates. For example, set monitor stand-by for 1 min and kscreensaver for 2
min. In 1 min, monitor goes into stand-by, kscreensaver immediately starts
and then freezes in just a few seconds.

I know it is illogical to start kscreensaver after stand-by, but it is a bug.
kpowersave should probably prevent kscreensaver from starting under this
circumstances or overwrite kscreensaver settings.

No, it isn't a KPowersave bug.

1) KPowersave don't know anything about the kscreensaver settings,
especially nothing about the timeouts, since kscreensaver don't export
these settings via DCOP.
2) The monitor settings in KPowersave are DPMS settings. kscreensaver
should be able to handle DPMS settings and changes from the outside. If
not: it's a KDE bug
3) you can simply select "Enable specific screensaver settings" and
"Disable screen saver" and KPowersave stops kscreensaver on startup or
scheme switches (depending on the settings).

There is nothing we can do in KPowersave about this.
