Greetings. I'm using kpowersave-0.7.2, installed from openSUSE 10.2 RPMs, on a Samsung X20 laptop. My default AC scheme is "Performance", and my default battery scheme is "Powersave". If I turn on my laptop when it's on AC power, the "Performance" scheme takes effect as expected, and if I cut off the AC power, the "Powersave" scheme takes effect as expected. However, if I then plug in the AC adapter again, my computer continues to behave as if it's in the "Powersave" scheme. It does this despite the fact that if I right click on the system tray icon, it claims that the "Performance" scheme is active.
Is this a known problem? Has it been fixed in the development version? Should I try running the latest development version?
