Also, to add to what Sulabh advised, It would be nice if you can provide us with more info on what topology you have implemented. Apart from that, if you are using mininet vm , wireshark is inbuilt and you can fire it up, using ' sudo wireshark & 'that should help you see the packets and understand where the issue might be..
