Hi, when trying to install pox in a node which is already installed with OVS i have run the following commands:
~$ git clone http://github.com/noxrepo/pox ~$ cd pox ./pox.py --verbose forwarding.l2_learning The output should have looked like this: POX 0.1.0 (betta) / Copyright 2011-2013 James McCauley, et al. DEBUG:core:POX 0.1.0 (betta) going up... DEBUG:core:Running on CPython (2.7.3/Apr 20 2012 22:39:59) DEBUG:core:Platform is Linux-3.2.0-56-generic-x86_64-with-Ubuntu-12.04-precise INFO:core:POX 0.1.0 (betta) is up. DEBUG:openflow.of_01:Listening on 0.0.0.0:6633 INFO:openflow.of_01:[9e-38-3e-8d-42-42 1] connected DEBUG:forwarding.l2_learning:Connection [9e-38-3e-8d-42-42 1] instead i am getting only upto: DEBUG:openflow.of_01:Listening on 0.0.0.0:6633 The setup i am working on requires the OVS node to behave as an L2 switch to connect a no. of nodes. However, i need a router or L3 device to connect different such L2 switches as the one which is the OVS installed switch. For that purpose i am trying to use one of the OVS installed nodes as both an L2 switch and a L3 router (by installing POX controller in it) My query is: How do i interface the Controller with the switches (i.e OVS nodes).
