I need to let the laptop charge up since it is the only active x86 machine I have here to put skype on. If you are going to use OpenBSD along with MacOSX, then you need to follow the link about using disk utility. I do not have any Mac systems installed on any of my machines.
Give me a reply, let me know what hours you will be up, and I will be sure that I am here at my place. Eastern Standard Time on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. I'll be ready to start when you need on Saturday after 7:00 AM here. On Fri, Jan 21, 2011 at 9:42 PM, Eric Oyen <[email protected]> wrote: > > I appreciate the help. I already have VINUX on there (debian based). However, I am having problems with the DBUS system where its udisks-deamon program would start taking more cpu until the system would become completely unresponsive. this would happen after a random amount of time from startup. > > I've used openbsd on an old and machine as a firewall, so basic startup isn't that hard. getting speech to work though I have never tried with this OS though. > > I can setup a webcam and operate via Skype on my OS X machine here. > let me know how you want to proceed here. > > -Eric > > On Jan 21, 2011, at 6:03 PM, Super Bisquit wrote: > > > I'm willing to work with him through this one. > > Once he sets it up, it should be good.
