President holds meeting with ministers on Abepura attack The Jakarta Post , Cikeas | Thu, 04/09/2009 4:47 PM | National President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono met Thursday with Cabinet officials at his residence in Cikeas, Bogor, to discuss the attack on a police station in Abepura, Jayapura, in Papua earlier in the day. According to kompas.com, National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri, Indonesian Military (TNI) chief Djoko Santosa and Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Widodo A.S. were among those in attendance. State Secretary Hatta Radjasa said Thursday the President had summoned the officials to give clarifications on the attack. Bambang said earlier the police had declared five people suspects and were intensively questioning six witnesses.
