wow, cool rizqon. most congratulations! tell you what, how happy im to see ur piece published in such prestigious and respected english newspaper. u know what, a few days back, when i met qisai we talked about writing a piece or two in jakarta post or in some india newspapers. now, see what happen, u even did it already! from the deepest part of my heart, i tender my thankful, grateful and gratitude to you personally, who have helped me and us ( ppi india community) to build a very strong signature and good impression in national level. it'll be good for all of us, mind you. and it'll be great also for your own intellectual credibilty, locally, nationally and internationally. im very very happy for you, my friend. :)
there are several things cud be learnt from this, especially for all friends here, out of your published articles:
1. that rizqon has done to ppi-india community, in national/international level, what none of us do, viz. to make ppi-india known as an intellectual and capable and energetic youth. not as a bunch of brainless persons who can only screaming and pride of themselves for "nothingness";
2. that rizqon has set the standard and tought us how to be a good academician and intellectual and at the same time still put his foot grounded. humility is certainly a capacity rizqon has that we should imitate cheerfully;
3. that we, whatever we are doing,did and done so far, is nothing but a little contribution to ppi-india image in national level. we should be thankful to the Almighty for whatever little contribution we make to enhance ppi-india community image on local and national level. but to be proud of, or worse to be boast of, little things we have done so far is sheer stupidity and absurdity to say the least. we, have learnt from rizqon, that the credibility of our academic capacity are really at stakes unless we make it big, i.e. by showing off our intellectual works in national or international media.
4. rizqon is islamic studies student, not english literature student, but he's more than capable of doing something that any english literature student havent done so far, i.e., writing article and published, therefore recognised, in respected media.
the lessons in this point are (a) for english literature student, do something to enhance ur image and ur capability. ur english skill just less recognised unless ur works ever been published by recognised media; (b) for non-english student. dont make any excuses about your incapability to english language. we are in india, and therefore, you are expected to speak and write in english, whatever your subject u r doing.
again, thank you very much, my friend for teaching us with your act how to make our image BIG, personally and institutionally. well done. and keep ut da good works! im looking forward to many other of ur writings!
my last hope, may the standard u set, cud boost and beef up the motivations of all other indian students all over india.
