Kanpur Genetic Algorithms Laboratory is organizing a short course on
genetic algorithms at IIT Kanpur during 20-22 July 2005 (Wednesday till
Friday). If you are interested in attending the course or know someone

This is an once-a-year opportunity to know fundamentals of genetic algorithms
systematically and advanced topics in optimization (such as multi-objective
optimization, robust optimization, multi-modal optimization, scheduling
optimization etc.) and their relevance
in practical problem solving. As a part of the course, you will have a
book, a collection of important papers, a number of source codes implementing
different genetic algorithms including a multi-objective optimization
algorithm.
The number of seats is restricted and to ensure a position you need to
send the completed registration materials (downloaded from the web site)
at your earliest.
For students (Bachelors to PhD), there are a few positions with reduced
registration fee. Once these positions are filled, students will have
to register at the academic rate. If you are a student and interested
in the reduced registration, you need to hurry. Please see the web site
for details.
