Salam, Pada hari Senin lalu, 11 Juli 2005, pemerintah India telah mengumumkan tentang kebijakan baru visa pelajar bagi para mahasiswa asing yang belajar di India. Didalam kebijakan baru ini, seorang mahasiswa asing diperbolehkan untuk mengambil pendidikan di dua atau lebih institusi pendidikan di India, tanpa harus menjelaskan kepada pihak FRRO tentang ihwal perpindahan atau banyaknya institusi pendidikan yang di ambilnya.
So, bagi para rekans yang 'hobby' untuk mendapatkan 'gelar2' tambahan, dipersilahkan untuk memanfaatkan kesempatan ini, tapi dengan catatan bahwa institusi tersebut harus mendapatkan pengakuan dari pemerintah India. There will be no bar or restriction on the number of courses a foreign student may pursue and each time the periodicity of the visa will be counted afresh. The student will be permitted to take multiple courses in one institution or multiple institutions, provided the institutions are recognised and reputed. State governments and Foreigners Regional Registration Offices (FRROs) have been empowered to extend student visa within the parameters of the liberalised visa regime, an official release said here.
