Dear Friend,
As in the past, this year too, the Council is organizing 5 Winter Camps during the last week of December 2005 as per details mentioned below :-
1. Chennai/Pondicherry/Tanjore/Madurai/Kokaikanal/Kanyakumari ( for 45 students) The students will have to report at Chennai and the camp will end at Chennai (26th December 05 to 3rd January 06)
2. Delhi/Bikaner/Jaisalmer/Jodhpur/Udaipur/Chittorgarh/Ajmer/Delhi (for 45 students). The students will have to report at New Delhi and the camp will end at New Delhi (25th December 05 to 2nd January 2006)
3. Gwalior/Orchha/Khajuraho/Bandavgarh National Park/Jabalpur/ Shivpuri/Gwalior (for 40 students). The students will have to report at Gwalior and the camp will end at Gwalior (25th Dec. 05 to 1st Jan. 06)
4. Bombay/Pune/Aurangabad (for 45 students) The students will have to report at Bombay and the camp will end at Bombay (24th Dec 05 to 1st Jan 2006)
5. Bombay/Goa (for 45 students) The students will have to report at Bombay and the camp will end at Bombay (25th December 05 to 2nd January 06)
Facilities and details of the tours are as follows :-
1. Board & lodging arrangements are made in hotels, hostels, huts, etc. Variety programmes, sight seeing, debates etc are organized all through the period. The programmes are educative and entertaining and according to reports, students have been thoroughly enjoying them.
2. Fees: With the help of a substantial subsidy from the Council, it has been possible to keep the camp fee at Rs.2,000/- per head. The Council will meet expenses on board, lodging, sight seeing on various places, etc. Once selection letter is forwarded no portion of the camp fee is refundable even if a student does not avail of the camp facilities.

3. Application: Application for admission to the camp is to be sent in the prescribed form which should reach us on or before 30 th November 05 with the camp fee of Rs.2,000/-. The camp fee may be sent through a crossed bank draft in favour of DG, ICCR, New Delhi. The camp fee will be refunded to those who may not be selected for any of the tours.
4. Family members of the scholars will not be allowed to join the camps.
5. Self-financing students joining the tour will give an undertaking that medical expenses/hospitalization etc during the winter camps will be borne by themselves.
6. As the number of seats are limited, we would request you to en-roll your names as early as possible to enable us to plan the camps properly.
7. ICCR scholars are entitled to claim for refund of their camp fee only one time within an academic year after joining the camp. If any student fails to attend the camp after selection, he/she will not be entitled for the refund.
