Final Call

Submission Deadline: 11th May 2014

Just a gentle reminder that the submission date for the PPIG (Psychology of
Programming Interest Group) Doctoral consortium is fast approaching (11th of
May).

The Consortium provides Doctoral researchers with the opportunity to present
to, and have their work reviewed by, a panel of experts in the area of
Psychological aspects of Programming.

PPIG is renouned for its inclusive, supportive atmosphere and so is
particularly suited to Doctoral candidates as they shape and refine their
thesis. It entertains a broad spectrum of research approaches, from theoretical
perspectives, drawing on psychological theory, to empirical perspectives
grounded in real-world experience. It is equally concerned with all aspects of
programming and software engineering, from the design of programming languages
to communication issues in software teams, and from computing education to
high-performance professional practice.

This year PPIG is 25 years old and it promises to be a rather special affair!

Potential participants may email Jim Buckley (jim.buck...@ul.ie), the
consortium organizer with any queries.

Regards
Jim
