wassalam, ----------------------- U.S. Launches Another Strike on Fallujah BAGHDAD, Iraq - The U.S. military launched its third airstrike in a week Friday against a suspected terrorist hideout in the restive city of Fallujah. The strike targeted a suspected safehouse for Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's network and was based on "multiple confirmations" from intelligence sources, a military statement said. The operation employed precision weapons "to target and destroy" the safehouse. "Wherever and whenever we find elements of the Zarqawi network, we will attack them," the statement said. Al-Zarqawi's terror network claimed responsibility for attacks Thursday which killed about 100 people, most of them civilians.
