Hello friends, I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I'm writing from Los Angeles. There is a wonderful, wonderful book called "Ali and Nino" - I think it is is "Ali dan Nino" in the Indonesian language.
I am trying to collect this book as I have discovered that it has been published in about 20 languages. It is about an Azerbaijani Boy named Ali who is Muslim and a Georgian Christian girl named Nino who love each other. The story is set in Baku in about 1916-1917 on the verge of the Bolshevik Revolution when the political times are so volatile and explosive. The author is Kurban Said. 1.
