a-ssalamu 'alaikum wa rahmatu-lLahi wa barakatuH, jazaki-lLahu khairan
for the posting. we are differerent, that's the fact. who are right?
wa-lLahu 'alam!
one thing i would like to say here, that the same person, wahoever he
or she is or whatever he or she is; who sticks to the moon sighting but
o the dayly lives they use praying time table instead sun sighting!
five times a day you must see the sun or at least the shadow than you
can pray but instead you have pryerstimetable.
why the difference?
so why instead of the shadows and the walk after zhuhur to time your
prayer you use kafir's clock, but cannot use the current astronomy
or:
let me show you one more example. the qur'an states: "...And eat and
drink until the white thread becomes distinct to you from the black
thread of the dawn..."[2:187]. I do not find you, the true believers,
rolling the black and white thread at dawn to know whether it is time
to start fasting.
why the difference?
i understood, rasulu-lLah SAW says, if we were illiterate than we have
to see the moon, but nowadays we can read and calculate!
we should use our brain! alhamduli-lLah we have got this from Allah.
why should we leave them behind???
what rasulu-lLah SAW says? what does rasulu-lLah SAW really say? once i
read: a good article
The Ulema re-emphasize the fact that all laws and rules in Islam are
in conformity with the natural systems.
Yaqub Ibn Tariq (767-778 CE), Habit al-Hasid (740-840 CE), Muhammad Ibn
Musa al-Khwarizmi (830 CE), al-Farghani (850 CE), Muhammad Ibn Jabir
al-Battani (850-929 CE), Nasiruddin al-Tusi (13 th century) and
Al-Biruni (10th century) were eminent Muslim astronomers about one
thousand years ago. Al-Biruni quotes in his famous text that the
scientific prediction methods for the new crescent are basically to
help test the reliability of sighting reports.
The Quran states in 55:5: The sun and the moon move by a decreed
calculationSo, which of your Lords bounties will you both deny?
if Allah says that the moon is punctual due to divinely fixed
calculatable timing in the orbit, why are you denying Allahs bounty of
fixed lunar orbit and timing and say astronomical calculations are
wrong?
you see, the first word revealed to rasulu-lLah Muhammad SAW was "IQRA"
which means to read. one must remember that the first word revealed was
not "ALLAH", "rasool", "shalat", "shaum", "zakat", or "hajj." both
the qur'an and the hadits have laid great emphasis on education.
owever, today the muslim ummah is 1.3 to 1.5 billion, but
unfortunatelyh the literacy rate is between 25 and 35 percent, and
among rural women it is only 2 percent, the rest illiterate.
if you don't have any clock at hand or nearby, can't read then look at
the sun or shadow and the moon.
Subhanaka-lLahuma wa bihamdiK/glory & praise/gratitude is to You O
Allah, asy-hadu alla illaha illa Ant/ i bear witness there is none that
has the right to my worship but You, astaghfiruKa wa a tubu illaiK/ i
ask Your forgiveness and repent unto You.
*Yesterday is history,
Tommorow's a mystery,
Today's a gift,
That's why we call it the Present.*
"Each day I wake in gratitude.
Thanking Allah,
He let me rise
And To Him I only
Seek His assistance."
